Ronald Wayne Besler

April 26, 1964 ~ November 16, 2017 (age 53) 53 Years Old


It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Ronald Wayne Besler which occurred on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at his residence.

Ronald was born in Leader, sask on April 26, 1964. He was the only child to the late Walter and Ruth (Hoffmann) Besler. He is survived by his Aunts Elsie Yackel, Evelyn Hoffman, Laura Blodgett, Martha (Besler) and Bill Wardill and numerous cousins.

Ronald grew up in Leader, attending school grades 1 through 12 remained in  Leader  throughout his 53 years, farming side by side with his mom and dad. In the winter months they lived in Leader and the summer would reside at the farm Estuary, Sask. 

Over the years, Ronald had many interests from hunting with his dad  and friends, fishing, inventing different things or modifying them, some worked and some didn't. Visiting with friends and playing cards all night, listening to tunes, attending gun shows, being with his many cousins and most recently full filling one of his dreams of purchasing a 1928 T- bucket car, with the intention of acquiring a couple of others. Ronald's smile, wave and presence in the Leader community will be greatly missed.

The  will be a funeral service for Ronald will be held at the Leader United church on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Salesi Takau officiating. Interment will take place at the Leader cemetery following the service.

Donations in Ronald's memory can be made to the Parkinson's society of Saskatchewan at 610 Duchess street Saskatoon, Sk, S7K 0R1 or to the charity or the donor's choice.

Interment will be in the Leader Cemetery following the service.
