Flat Markers

"Flat" style markers or monuments can be installed as is or placed on a cement base that is set in the ground. These monuments work well when a larger monument already exists on a plot and another family member has been interred there as well. The flat monument can be set in the ground at ground level so only the inscribed top side is visible. This is usually done when a cemetery does not allow 2 monuments on one plot. Having the monument at ground level allows maintenance of the cemetery to be done more easily.
