My sincerest sympathy to Rob, Lynn, Brooklyn and Carson and Bayne and Deb. She was such a dedicated, selfless beautiful person who will be missed by your family and all those who had the pleasure of having her as their teacher. May she rest in eternal peace with your dad/grandpa Kelly.

Laurie and I are so glad we travelled to Eatonia last June and had a super visit with Joy. We will never forget her beautiful smile and welcoming personality. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Rob, Lynn, Bayne, Deb, Brooklynn, and Carson at this sad and difficult time. Howard, Laurie, Shannon and Neil.

My God, what a horrible thing to read about! Mrs. Assmus was the best Grade 1&2 teacher ever. Little did I know when she (Joy) taught me that we would become friends later on in life. I enjoyed stopping in for a visit and having a coffee with Joy and Kelly. I'm sorry I couldn't stop in more and spend more time with them. I always left their home in a great mood. Wonderful couple. I'll miss them. Joy and Kelly raised two incredible sons. I love Rob's laugh but years ago I wish Bayne would've kept his head out of the strike zone!

So sorry for your loss, Rob, Bayne and family. Aunt Joy was a sweet lady. We would see her occasionally, when she came out here to see her sister, Audrey. We always enjoyed those
visits with her.

Dear Rob, Lynn, Bayne, Deb, Brooklyn and Carson. My deepest sympathies to you on the death of your mother and grandmother. I have fond memories of Mrs. Assmus as a teacher at Eatonia School.
