I'll always remember John as one of my best students. When the province of Alberta began apprenticeship training for Locksmiths, John was one of the first in line. He took all 4 periods of training back-to-back at considerable personal expense - a testament to his dedication to learning his craft. He gave back to his trade through contributions to Apprenticeship training in Saskatchewan and to both Saskatchewan and Alberta Locksmith Associations. I wish I had got to know him better on a personal level. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. I know he will be greatly missed,

John was a dear friend of my step dad Russell. He was a great friend to him and my mom. Very caring and thoughtful man , that I am sure will be greatly missed by any one that knew him. My condolences to his family.

John was very special to our family. Dad thought of him like the son he never had. He did so much for Mom and Dad and was always there for them. He has been a special part of our lives for so many years. It is hard to imagine him not being here. I am sorry for his family's sadness. We will miss him so much also. Too young and too soon for the people that love him.

Our deepest sympathy and heart felt condolences to the family. We first met John when he brought the entire Saskatchewan Locksmith Association to Red Deer for and annual Locksmith Convention. His dedication was impressive and his sense of humor was second to non. John's passing will certainly be felt in the locksmithing world.. RIP .
