Sending love, prayers and sympathy to all of the family. The family tree has lost another branch. I was so sad to hear of Uncle Al's passing so soon after losing Mom in June. I was not strong enough to go to the funeral then, but was there in spirit and thought.. My grief is still raw, and there is an even bigger hole in my heart now.

Uncle Al was my Godfather and a special uncle. He and Mom were close and visiting Uncle Al and Auntie Clara's farm in SK was always a blast. Farm kids know how to have fun! I have so many laughs and fond memories to treasure. Rest in peace Uncle Al. No doubt you and Mom are chasing after cows up there in the heavenly fields, too. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss you and your German expressions. I pray you and Auntie Clara are walking in the golden valley with Our Lord and all the saints.

Love always, Teresa

I am sorry to hear of Uncle Al's passing - just about a year from the day that Dad died. They are together again. Both waiting until after harvest to leave this world.

He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to each of you.

Uncle Al was very special to me, He was my Godfather and will always have a warm and special place in my heart. He always made me laugh and as a child and teenager he gave me every Christmas, my own bag of homemade beef jerky, just for me. I will always have wonderful memories about our family visits at Uncle Al and Aunty Clara's house. I will miss you Uncle. Rest in peace.
Love your niece and God daughter
