Margaret Yvonne (Dupont) Dyck

In loving memory of Margaret Dyck who passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2016 at the age of 94.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Robert (Marilyn), Brian (Debbie), Carol, and David (Barb).

A memorial service will be held for Margaret on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 2:00 pm from Kindersley Elk's Hall with Sid Unruh officiating.

Margaret Yvonne Dyck was born on the farm South of Rush Lake, SK, on November 8, 1921.  She married Jacob Dyck on October 22, 1945.  Together they were kept busy in the full time ministry until the birth of their first child.  They lived in Neidpath, Kyle, and Eston, moving to Kindersley in 1967.  Jake and Margaret were known for their hospitality.  There was always room for one (or several) more at the table.  She was well known for her cooking and baking, especially her brownies.  Spiritual activities were very important in her life.  She loved telling others about Jehovah and His promise of everlasting life on a Paradise Earth.  She was baptized August 10, 1940, and her favorite scripture was James 4:8, which encourages us to draw close to God.

She was predeceased by her husband Jacob (2000), parents Louis and Elizabeth Dupont, 4 brothers: Laurence, Frances, Fred, and Leslie.  She is survived by 4 children: Robert (Marilyn), Brian (Debbie), Carol, and David (Barb). Seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Angela, Travis, Nathan, Kenton, Jackie, & Brina.  Nine great-grandchildren, Robert, Stephanie, Danica, Jace, Tylan, Aizlyn, Jorynn, Jeneva, and Edyne.  Margaret is also survived by three sisters, Betty, Mona, and Lillian.
