In loving memory of (Evelyn) Louvaine Ritchie, who passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 in Kindersley, SK, at the age of 93 years.

Beloved wife of the late Norm Ritchie, and mother of Cheryl (Dale) Schopff, and grandmother of Sherri & family and Debra & family.

There will be a gathering to celebrate Louvaine's life with music and sharing from the Kindersley United Church Hall on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2:00 pm.

 

 

(Evelyn) Louvaine Ritchie was born October 11, 1923 in the Kindersley Hospital to Delbert and Maude Acker. She was the youngest of three children. Louvaine served in WW11, but stationed in Regina due to illness. On November 23, 1946 she married Norman Ritchie, they had one child, Cheryl. After spending time as a farm wife, they moved to Kindersley where she worked at the Co-op for several years, which she loved. She loved when she helped at Labelle's, the Co-op greenhouse, communities in bloom. She loved gardening, fashion, animals and life. Her love and dedication for Alanon touched so many lives. Her last four years were spent due to dementia in the Heritage Manor. She was predeceased by her Mother Maude, two brothers Del and Ken, her husband Norm, brother and sister in laws. She is remembered and loved by her family, her daughter Cheryl and Dale(her son in law)Schopff; her granddaughters Sherri(Grant) Fillinger & Debra Schopff-Decker(Scott Patey); great grandchildren Derrek, Tyler, Caitlyn, Trevor, Amy, Taralynn & Tanner. Also many nieces & nephews and sister in law Lil Acker. She will be loved and missed forever.
