So sad to have such a a wonderful musical presence and beautiful person leave us. I remember so fondly all the musical adventures I shared with Marylou. I feel honoured to have worked with her so much in my lifetime. She was such a sensitive, intelligent & genuine person and musician. She had a strong presence but was always so humble and modest. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with you Thor, Kirsten & Jonine.

Marylou always lived like she was a teenage despite her age. Who has the guts to buy a motorcycle in their 70's?..Marylou does.
She was a wonderful accompanist whether I was singing my heart out, or playing the Cello.
She was a bright fearless light!!!

Marylou was a very special person and an inspiring piano instructor of mine during my years at the U of S. She guided me towards the enjoyment of piano accompaniment, a field in which I worked professionally for many years. It saddens me so, to hear of her passing.
