Wanda Lynn (Young) Hamilton

In loving memory of Wanda Hamilton, who passed away on Friday, February 28th 2020 at the age of 67 years. Beloved wife of Gary Hamilton, and mother of Corey (Julia), & Lynnsey (Johan). 

August 30th 1952 an extraordinary woman was born into this world. Wanda was the youngest of three children to Elizabeth and Lloyd Young. She had significant health challenges from a very young age, but never let that stop her from stepping out, pushing forward and living an amazing life. Wanda lived passionately, loved fiercely and advocated tirelessly for her family and those she cared deeply about. She had a strength about her that defied logic even in the most tumultuous times. She touched the lives of everyone who crossed her path and was always open as a shoulder to cry on, a friend to laugh with or a helping hand when something needed to get done.
On February 28th 2020, Wanda slipped peacefully from this world and into the arms of Jesus. She is survived by her husband Gary, son Corey, daughter Lynnsey, brother Jerald, and grandson Austin. She will be dearly missed by friends and loved ones, but Wanda did not leave without first teaching all those around her how to be survivors, how to fight for what they believe in and how to have strength even in the weakest times. At her request there will be no formal service, but a private internment at a later date.
