Vernon "Vern" Albert Hammel

The family of Vern Hammel are saddened to announce his sudden passing on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024 at the age of 62.

Vern is the beloved husband of Kerry Hammel; loving father of Kyla (James) Crozier, Ray (Bri) Hammel, and the late Adam Hammel.  His legacy will live on in his grandchildren Braxton, Brynn, Callie, Rory, Lincoln, and Rayden.  Vern is also survived by his brother Ed (Gwen) and many nieces and nephews.

He had been predeceased by his parents Ned and Dorothy (nee Pembelton) Hammel, his siblings, Betty (Bruce), Larry (Simone), and Rick (Debbie).

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 29th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Elks Hall in Kindersley  There will be an open mic available for friends and family to share their fond memories.

In lieu of flowers please plant a tree in Vern's name.  Donations can be done through this website's Memorial Tree program as well as at the Town of Kindersley office, where they can be planted locally.
