Sadie (Henderson) Ridalls

The family of Sadie Ridalls, formerly of Bickleigh, SK, sadly, announces her passing on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the age of 96 years.

Beloved wife of the late Gordon Ridalls and beloved mother of Trevor (Sue) Ridalls, and Audrey (Brian) McEvoy.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Sadie on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 2:00 from the Rosetown United Church Hall with Rev. Barb MacNaughton officiating.

There will be a private family interment in the Rosetown Cemtery prior to the service.

Sadie passed away at the Eston Jubilee Lodge, which she called home for nearly seven years. She was born on August 25, 1921 at Macrorie, Saskatchewan and was the second youngest of eleven children.

In 1941, she took a business course in Saskatoon, and then was employed by L.L.Brown at Fiske, where she met her future husband Gordon Ridalls

Sadie and Gordon got married in 1943 and they farmed in the Bickleigh district,

Sadie enjoyed camping, fishing, sewing, square dancing, knitting and reading in her younger years. She travelled Canada from coast to coast, Hawaii, Alaska, and many other US states, Norway, Austrailia, and New Zealand.

Sadie is survived by her son Trevor (Sue) Ridalls of Bickleigh, their four children; Coraline (Nolan) Fehr, Leslie (Ray) Keller, Kristen (Mike) Smith, and Glenn (Deanna) Ridalls and her daughter Audrey (Brian) McEvoy, of Plato, and their three children, Jorunn (Tom) Geiger, Cory (Lynne) McEvoy, Mark (Desiree) McEvoy, and fifteen great~grandchildren.

Sadie was predeceased by her husband Gordon in 1982, her parents and all of her siblings.
