Ralph Julius Kiss was born October 11th, 1947, to Louis & Nellie (Nee McWilley) Kiss in Watrous Saskatchewan. There he grew up and went to school with his four brothers and two sisters. Ralph met and fell in love with Patsy Smiley, and together, they were married September 1969 in Kenaston, SK. Ralph & Patsy stayed in Watrous until 1980. From there they moved onto Assiniboia, Kerrobert and finally to Alsask, SK. Where he retired from his career as a long-haul truck driver in 2017. During this time their sons Scott and Dallas were born to them.
Ralph passed away on Wednesday, September 22nd 2021, at the Royal University Hospital (Saskatoon SK.) at the age of 73 years from multiple organ failure due to suspected complications of the Moderna COVID vaccination.
Ralph is survived by, and his memory will be held in the hearts of his family. His beloved wife of 52 years, Patsy. His precious sons, Scott (Shauvone), and Dallas (Tricia), along with his treasured grandchildren; Josh, Tyra, Makayla, Rayna, Danika, and Lissa. He is also survived by his sisters; Nellie, and Irene (Jack), his brother Ivan, and his sister-in-law Sherry Roszell, along with his many extended family and friends. He had been predeceased in this life by his parents, Louis, and Nellie, his brothers; Arnie, Glen, and Leonard, his nephew Terry, a brother-in-law Wendell Roszell, his father and mother-in-law, Jim & Delia Smiley, and his sisters-in-law; Karen Kiss, and Jackie Kiss.
There will be a Graveside Memorial Service held for Ralph on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at the the Alsask Cemetery with Bonnie Burke officiating with lunch and fellowship held after at the Alsask Lions Hall.
