Pauline Ann Moskowec

Oct 10, 1933 – May 11, 2020

The death of Pauline Moskowec aged 86 occurred at Jubilee Lodge, Eston Saskatchewan on May 11, 2020.

Pauline (nee Prestay) was born October 10, 1933 at High Tor, Saskatchewan to Metro & Lena Prestay.  After attending Cherry Blossom School, Pauline went to work in Kelvington SK and Tisdale SK.

Pauline married Peter Moskowec June 24, 1951 in Porcupine Plain SK.  Pauline and Peter farmed near Weekes SK and started a family.  In 1968, Peter took a job at CFS Alsask and the family moved to Alsask SK.  Pauline worked as a cook at the Alsask Hotel and as a housekeeper for private homeowners and at the Base School.  Peter and Pauline moved to Kindersley SK in 1981 and Pauline worked as a cook at the Homestead Restaurant and in housekeeping at the old Heritage Manor Nursing Home.  As Peter’s health declined, Pauline retired early to look after him until his passing in 2007.

When Pauline was not working, she enjoyed her garden flowers, cooking for her family and having perogy making marathons with her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed embroidery and in her later years, the companionship of her fur babies Peaches, Sasha, and Macy.

Pauline was predeceased by her parents, her brother Peter and sister Olga, and her husband Peter.  She is survived by her brother Michael, her sons Raymond, Victor, Richard, and Tony, and daughter Gloria.  She has 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

At Pauline’s request, there will be no funeral service.  Cremation will take place and Pauline will be interred in Kindersley Cemetery beside Peter.
