Maureen Elaine Marble (nee Fearer) was the only child born to Harold & Margaret (nee McLaughlin) Fearer on July 18th, 1943, in Hamilton Ontario. The young family would soon move from Ontario to Lewvan, Saskatchewan, before finally settling down in Saskatoon, SK where she grew up.
All her schooling would happen in Saskatoon, including completing her teacher’s qualifications at Saskatoon Teacher’s College. Her first move away from home was to Rosetown, SK where she completed her teaching practicum and before she was hired by Eston School Division as a full-time teacher. While in Eston, it would be where she met and married the love of her life, John Marble.
Maureen and John would wed in July of 1967 and together would have celebrated 55 years in 2022. Born to them were 2 beloved children, Evan, and Alana Jo. The children kept them busy through the years with all their activities that Maureen (and John) loved to go to. The family greatly enjoyed skiing, and there would be too many wonderful locations to name that they traveled to. There would also be trips taken to Europe and Hawaii over time.
Maureen also kept herself busy with groups such as Eastern Star, the Eston Music Festival, and the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation.
