While they lived on the farm, she was not only a homemaker, she was also a farm wife who helped with the chores, hauling bales, you would also find her in the field during harvest time driving the combine. They also had a custom meat shop on the farm where she would be there busy helping with the wrapping of meat. Along with being the main gopher to get everything that was required. She also loved to bake and was very famous for her peanut butter and boiled raisin cookies. She loved to play bingo and other board games with her grandkids, she also loved going to garage sales all over the area. With Freds failing health, they moved to Leader in January 2004. When they had moved to Leader she and Fred loved to watch the birds. After Fred's passing in March 2006 you would find her sitting outside on her deck every chance she could weather permitting watching the birds with the finches being her favourite to watch.
