Edna (Tschabuschnig) Jury

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Edna Jury, wife of the late George Jury. She was 82 of Kindersley, SK. She passed away on February 6, 2026.

Edna was known for her kind heart, vibrant spirit, and warmth. Edna was an aunt, a sister, and a friend. She brought joy and warmth to all those around her. Her sudden departure will leave a void in the lives she touched.

She is survived by her sister, Gloria Morrow, brother-in-law, Roy Novak, brother-in-law, Jim Roznowski, and a sister-in-law, Louise Fedak. She is fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and her circle of friends who have cherished her over the years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Gabriel and Ludmilla Tschabuschnig, her sisters, Elise Kozak, Eleanor Novak, Millie Forester, Thelma Tschabuschnig, a brother, Gabe Tschabuschnig, and her husband George, 5 brother-in-laws, and 3 sister-in-laws.

Edna was born on May 16, 1943, in the area of Birch River, MB.  On August 1, 1969, she married George Jury. He was the love of her life.

She worked in Winnipeg, MB, for 17 years as a secretary. She enjoyed children and was a caretaker to some over the years. In the later years, they moved to Brandon, MB. After George’s passing, she moved to Kindersley, SK, to be closer to her sister Millie Forester and her nieces. She made many memories and touched many lives.

Edna had a love for God and put God first. She professed to serve the Lord at a young age. She was often found reading her bible or singing hymns.

Edna and George enjoyed travelling, and went to many countries and on some cruises. She enjoyed her morning walks around Caleb and talking with others. She enjoyed phoning her nieces, nephews, and many friends.
