Chester "Ches" Michael William Dobni

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Chester(Ches) Michael Dobni.  Father to son Kyle Dobni and daughter Emma Dobni of Saskatoon, and son of Helen Dobni of Kindersley.  Ches was born on December 29th, 1965, at Kindersley Union Hospital and passed away on March 31, 2022 at RUH in Saskatoon.  He was 56 years old.  Ches was predeceased by his brother Barry in May of 2000 and his father Chester in March of 2004.  Left to cherish his memory is Ches's mother Helen Dobni, sisters Shelley Becker(Greg), Cindy Cavanagh(Gary),Patty Fleming(Ken), Jennifer Sabiston(John), brother Ron Dobni and mother of his children Patsy Dobni.  As well as several nieces and nephews.

Ches took all his early schooling in Kindersley and then went to the University of Saskatchewan where he obtained his teaching degree on May 23, 1991.  He taught high school in both Alberta and Saskatchewan.  Through his job as a teacher, he was able to travel to Peru and Europe.  Vacations with his family to Hawaii and Disney World were special to him.

Some of Ches's cherished moments were coaching Kyle and Emma in soccer and watching Emma's dance performances.

His final years were spent in his hometown of Kindersley.  His family remembers Ches as a gentle man who liked to have a good conversation on many topics as many of his good friends can attest to, and he was friendly to all he met.

Ches, Go rest high on that mountain.  Your work on earth is done.
