Cecilia Elizabeth (Keller) Ryberg

Cecilia passed away peacefully Monday January 18th, 2021 at Rose Haven Long Term Care Facility in Camrose, Alberta at the age of 86. 

Cecilia was born on the Keller homestead near Compeer, Alberta on July 25th, 1934.  She grew up on the farm and attended Burnbrae School, before graduating from Leipzig School.

On October 4th, 1955, Cecilia married Gordon Everett Ryberg in Loverna Saskatchewan. She spent the next 60 years on the farm with her seven children while enjoying gardening, baking, knitting, and spending time with her grandchildren.  She would never turn down the opportunity to host family and friends for a visit, and no one would ever leave hungry. 

Cecilia was predeceased by her husband Gordon, and her sons Tom and Bruce.  She leaves to mourn her daughter-in-law Diane (Jennifer,Jeff; great-grandsons Ethan & Ben)(Warren,Megan) son Kelly,Charlet (Britney)(Brendan) son Frank,Gail (Collin,Ashley; great-grandson Holden)(Tracey,Quinn; great-granddaughter Peyton, great-grandson Gavin)(Kelsey,Sean )(Brody) daughter MaryLou,Ralph (Andy,Kendra; great-granddaughter Michele) daughter-in-law Marianne, daughter Cindy,Don (Jake,Mairene)(Aaron,Kassey) son Kevin,Shelly (Karter)

Cecilia’s quick wit and caring personality will be missed by all who knew her.
