Carol Clara (Hanson) Brown

It is with great sadness as we announce the passing of Carol Brown on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the age of 80 years.

Mom was the second youngest of 10 children, born to Magnar and Clara Hanson on November 28, 1944 in Flin Flon, MB.

She was predeceased by her brothers Lionel, Ken, Elmer and Leo and her sisters Audrey, Gail, Velma, and Marlene. Her sister Vicky still lives in the Toronto area. She loved her many nieces and nephews across Canada.

Mom enjoyed the lake, playing cards, jiving with my dad and spending time with her family. She was an avid reader, loved crossword and sodoku puzzles, and had a great affection for animals. She adored her grandchildren and delighted in their company. She amassed quite a collection of angels and loved bird-watching.

Carol and Terry resided in Creighton, Sk for over 50 years, where they raised their family. Carol lost her beloved husband on August 30, 2024; shortly thereafter she moved to the Heritage Manor in Kindersley, near her daughter. She is survived by her daughter Laura-Lee ( sp. Darcy Poochay), son Darren Brown ( sp. Fawn) and her grandchildren Zander and Connor Brown, and Jonah Poochay.

No services will be held for Carol at this time.
