It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brad Gold, who peacefully passed away on January 25th, 2021. Battling cancer for four months, he was a true brave soul with his loving wife battling along side him. He is survived by his wife Dianne, his daughters Shawna (Dallas), Nikki, Courtney and his precious grandchildren Oliver, Ivy, Kayden, whom he loved very much. He is also survived by his parents Lorraine and Roger Fanjoy and sister Amy McGarity and brother Ben Fanjoy. He will also be remembered by extended family and many friends.
Brad cared a lot about animals and they all seemed to favour him. He rescued two dogs and a cat. He was a loyal friend, always stood up for the underdog and cared about people. His favourite things were D&D (being dungeon master), cooking, going to Rough Riders games, music/concerts and building computers.
He will always be known for his big boisterous laugh, his goofy sense of humour and his great “dad jokes”. His puns always made his daughters laugh and his wife roll her eyes. His sense of humour was one of a kind.
The family thanks everyone for their kind wishes and words. They will continue to read and appreciate them. They also would like to thank the hospital nursing staff for taking good care of him during his final days.
Due to COVID Restrictions there will be a Private Family Service for Brad.
