Blaine Senn

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Blaine Senn, announce his passing at the St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon on June 10, 2026, at the age of 62. Blaine was the fourth of five children. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Verda Senn, along with his sisters Karen, and Lorraine. His surviving family is his wife of 43 years, Darlene, daughter Jessica (Riley Pincemin) and grandson Harrison Pincemin. Siblings, Bob (Brenda Senn) and Linda (Dwight Bangs), numerous in-laws, nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces.

Blaine was born in Kindersley, SK, and lived on the family farm at Pinkham for a couple of years, until the family moved in to Kindersley. At a young age he always picked up little jobs for cash and then started full time in the workforce at age of 14. Blaine never shied away from physical labour and he did different jobs until he found his love for the dirt. He worked construction, renovations, glass work, oilfield maintenance, and nearly 20 years with the Town of Kindersley Public Works, working his way up to the Forman position. With the town he started reading meters, shortly after he picked up a shovel and then moved up to backhoe operating, it was then he found his passion for dirt and heavy equipment. He went off on his own working water and sewer, until he went to the oilfield and found Dancin Oilfield, there Blaine found a groove trenching, pipelining and cemented great friendships. These last couple of years he continued to work the dirt for Cullen Contracting.

He met his wife, Darlene Scribner, while he was in school. After he left high school they continued to date, until they got engaged at the Kindersley Drive-In Theatre at the age of 17. They were married a couple months after, in August 1982. The wedding party went to the Prairie Trail and was kicked out due to Darlene not being 18, this was a moment they still loved to reminisce about. He loved seeing his nieces and nephews grow, often watching them with Darlene. In 1994 they welcomed home their baby girl Jessica. His whole family was waiting for them when they pulled up to their house with her. Their family of 3 moved out to the Scribner acreage and that is where Blaine and Darlene still reside.

His family has fond memories of him, moving dirt, fishing, golfing, listening to music, two stepping, and spending time at their home away from home at Aquadeo.

There will be a public celebration of life on Saturday, June 20th at the Kindersley Curling Rink from 1:30-4:30. Blaine loved being with family and friends, socializing and sharing stories. The family invites you to come and join them in celebrating his wonderful life.
