The family of Vernon Langley wish to announce his passing on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the age of 87 years.
Beloved husband of Margaret Langley, and father of Nigel (Julie) Langley, Gaynor (Gary) Swales, Nicholas (Linda) Langley, and Julian (Jennifer) Langley.
There will be a memorial service for Vernon on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 2:00 from the Clearview Community Church in Kindersley with Pastor Lloyd Griffith officiating.
Interment will take place at a later date.

Vernon Langley passed away peacefully on November 15th, 2018 in Kindersley, SK, Canada at the age of 87.
Vernon is survived by his wife, Margaret (Braithwaite) Langley; children, Nigel (Julie) Langley of Skipsea, England, Gaynor (Gary) Swales of Albrough, England, Nicholas (Linda) Langley of Red Deer, AB., and Julian (Jennifer) Langley of Paradise Hill, SK. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mabel, and his sister Barbara.
Vernon was born on May 3rd, 1931 in Bramley, England. He married Margaret, in 1955. During their 63 years of marriage the couple welcomed 4 children, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren into their family.
Vernon’s first career was as a draughtsman. He worked as a structural engineer on various projects around the western parts of Yorkshire, England. Then he fulfilled two dreams: he became a farmer, and then moved to Canada in 1995. Vernon was passionate about fishing, hunting, gardening, motorbike racing and reading.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Kindersley Community Funeral Home. A service was scheduled for 2:00 pm on November 23rd, 2018, officiated by Pastor Lloyd Griffin, at Clearview Community Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in his memory. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Heritage Manor, for their care, dedication, and professional support.
