In loving memory of Clifford Thiessen who passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the age of 60 years.
Cliff will be lovingly remembered by his brothers; Robert, Douglas, Lloyd & Marvin, along with their families, and his friends. Cliff was predeceased by his parents, and brother, Alvin.
There will be a Celebration of Life held for Cliff from the Be In Christ Church (819 Main St, Kindersley) on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Lloyd Griffith officiating.
Thiessen, Clifford Abram, was born at Central Butte, Saskatchewan on April 21, 1958 and passed away peacefully at home on June 3, 2018.
Cliff was predeceased by his parents Abram and Julia and brother Alvin.
Cliff is survived by his brother’s Robert (Arlene), Douglas (Darlene), Lloyd (Pamela), Marvin (Leigh); nieces and nephews: Ryan (Jolene), David (Whitney), Sarah, Ben (Jean), Kalina (Graham), Rosemarie, Bram, Katharine (Kyle), Joanna, Rayna plus great nieces and nephews.
Cliff grew up on the farm in Eyebrow, Sk. He was an active member of 4-H for 8 years, including beef club. He also was a junior leader. He Graduated from Eyebrow High School, then went to Japan for a month on a 4-H exchange. When he returned, he went to the University of Saskatchewan to pursue a Commerce Degree. However the lure of the North brought him to Whitecourt where he started grading lumber for Simpson Timber and Blue Ridge Sawmill in Whitecourt, and won several awards, including the award for being top lumber grader. Then he came back to Saskatchewan and worked at various jobs and places including Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. Lived in Tramping Lake working at the Hatchery, Then moved Smiley driving a water truck for R. E. Line, and fell in love with the people of Smiley nearly 30 years ago, then moved to Coleville to be a tire man for the same company and most recently worked at Wal-Mart in Kindersley. Cliff has many friends in the area and is well-known.
