In loving memory of Sandra "Sandi" Tumback who passed away on Wednesday, November 23rd 2016 at the age of 70 years. Beloved mother of Todd and Robert.

A funeral Mass will be held for Sandra in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eston, Saskatchewan on Thursday, December 1st 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev.Fr. Emmanuel Azike as Celebrant. Prayers will be offered from the church Wednesday evening at 7:00. Interment will take place in the Eston Cemetery.

 

Sandra Gale Tumback, August 6, 1946 – November 23, 2016

Sandra (Sandi) was born on August 6, 1946 in Eston SK.  She was the second oldest in a family of 7 children.  She had two sons, Todd and Robert.  Sandi attended elementary & high school in Eston.  After school, she worked at the Eston Post Office for 37 years.  She was active with the Eston 44’s Women’s softball team as a player & coach, and helped with the establishment of the Terry Fox Run in Eston.  Sandi enjoyed knitting, gardening, sweat peas, music, dancing and watching The Young and Restless.  She loved Princess Diana, and enjoyed reading, she was committed to daily journal writing.  She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed getting photos and information about them on Facebook.  She loved Hazel and Walt, and visiting the Fors Farm. She loved, horses, and her many dogs, most recently Bonnie.  Sandi’s favourite saying was “Whatever”.

Left to cherish Sandi’s memory are her children, Todd and his wife Nicole and their children Sydney, Talon and Gemma.  Robert and his children Vincent, Ashley, Dray, Tanea, Janessa, and Preston, Robert’s partner Pam, and her children Dominic and Cassidy.  Sandi’s siblings, Joan (Don) Hildebrant, Jim (Susan) Tumback, Ron (Dawn) Tumback, Marlene (Kevin) Hursh, and Gord Tumback, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Sandi was predeceased by her parents, Simon and Emma Tumback, and a brother, Murray Tumback.

Those we love don’t go away,

They walk beside us every day.

No longer in our life to share,

But in our hearts, she is always there.
