Otto "Scotch" Wormsbecker passed away peacefully on April 19th 2017.  Otto was born March 22nd 1922, at a mere 3 pounds, to Henry and Sofie Wormsbecker at their home in Hilda, Alberta.  Otto grew up with his 9 siblings, Lydia, Molly, Amelia, Emma, Dave, Teddy, Edna, Vi, Margie.  The family moved to the Glidden area when he was young. There, he attended Stony Vista School and helped his dad on the farm.  Otto joined the army during WWII and thereafter took up work dry walling in B.C. and Northern Alberta before settling down to farm in the Glidden area.

Playing baseball was a favorite pastime for Otto.  This was where he met up with Vicki Becker. They married November 23rd 1960, and he became Dad to Bob, Janett and Duane.

Otto and Vicki spent 56 loving years together farming, traveling, playing cards, fishing and curling with family and friends.  A favorite experience for them was going to Disneyland with ALL the grandchildren at different times.

Otto leaves to mourn him, his wife Vicki and children Bob (Jane) Becker, Janett Nagy, and Duane (Lynne) Becker; grandchildren Michael (Jeannine) Nagy, Lana (Neil) Day, Darren Nagy, Cheryl Becker, Curtis (Lisa) Becker, Nancy (Rob) Trumper, Jennifer (Alan) Brown; great grandchildren, Damon, Devin, Ryan, Caysen, Keirstin and Regin Nagy, Bailey and Ashley Nagy,  Emma and Tori Day, Robbie and Liam Trumper, and Adam, Alex, Brendan and Owen Becker; great-great grandsons Charlie Nagy and Deacon Nagy.
