Norbert Fischer
July 2, 1946 –February 2, 2018
 

Dad was born July 2nd, 1942 in Kerrobert hospital to parents Mathew and Margaret Fischer. He was the third oldest of seven children.
Dad grew up on the family farm and went to school in Major Sask.
Because of his love for the farm he spent more time on the farm then in school.
After his father passed away in 1965 He took over the family farm.
In 1966 he got married and over the next nine years they had six children. The years after were spent working on the farm, feeding cows, and working the land. He enjoyed watching his boys play hockey and was involved with the children as they attended many years in 4-H.
Dad always enjoyed music and playing the guitar. In his younger years, he played in several bands for different functions. I remember many nights falling asleep to the sound of the guitar.
Later in life, Dad enjoyed working with his horses, but his greatest joy was watching and doing things with his grandchildren and telling them stories of the old days.
On February 2nd, 2018 Dad, unexpectedly, but peacefully passed away in his sleep at his son’s home.
He will be greatly missed by all.

Norbert will be remembered by his children, Corey (Joann) Fischer, Darcy (Carol) Fischer, Rhonda Fischer, Shari (Kris) McNabb, Curtis Fischer; grandchildren, Savanah Fischer, Brittney Fischer, Branden Fischer, Joshua Fischer, Mathew Fischer, Nathan Fischer, Chelsea Fischer, Jadyn Fischer-McNabb. His siblings; Irene (Leo) Keller, Marlene (Robert) Zunti, Phyllis (Jerry) Ostrowski, Ken Fischer, Robert (Dawna) Fischer and Larry (Paulette) Fischer.

Many nieces and nephews.

Norbert was predeceased by his parents Matthew and Margaret Fischer, and his son Darrin.
