Margaret Learned

In Loving memory of Margaret Learned who passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016 at the age of 88 years.

Beloved wife of the late Ray Learned, and beloved mother of Alice (Ken) Hergott, Ron Learned, Wendy Anderson & Des (Mark) McEvoy.

There will be a Graveside Service for Margaret on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 2:00 from the Watrous Cemetery with The Reverend Nancy Yee officiating.

Margaret Claughton was born on December 16, 1927 on the family farm near Elfros to Emma and Seth Claughton.  She was the fourth child our of seven.  Her brother Jim Claughton is the only sibling left.

Margaret married Raymond Learned in Saskatoon on March 12, 1947.

They farmed at Young, SK until they moved to Watrous in 1954.  They lived in Watrous for the rest of their married life of 53 years when Ray passed away.  Margaret then moved to Kindersley to be with family and has resided there ever since.  

They had four children:  Alice, Ron, Wendy, and Desiree. 

She has many grand children and great grandchildren.
