Linda Marie Mills

In loving memory of Linda Mills who passed away on Friday, November 18th 2016 at the age of 70 years. Beloved wife of Ben Vogelgesang, Daughter of Verna Mills & Mother of Pamela Dunkle & Todd Brick.

A memorial service for Linda will be held at St. Paul's United Church, Kindersley, SK on Thursday, November 24th 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with The Rev. Piotr Strzelecki officiating. Interment of ashes will take place in the Kindersley Cemetery at a later time.

Our beloved Linda Marie Mills, 70, left us on November 18, 2016, with her family by her side.

Linda was born to Allan and Verna Mills on March 18, 1946 in Kindersley, Sask.  She was raised on a farm north of Beadle with her two brothers, Ron and Murray.  She had fond early memories of watching her father play baseball for the Kindersley Klippers.

Linda worked for the Potash Corp in Saskatoon, where she raised her children Pamela Dunkle and Todd Brick.  Later relocating to Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta with her spouse Ben Vogelgesang.  After retiring as an executive assistant, her and Ben returned to Kindersley to be close to family and friends.

Linda enjoyed camping, playing cards, crosswords, playing the piano and listening to music, and was an avid curling fan.  She deeply valued her lifelong friendships.  Most of all she was the hub of her family, which includes son-in-law Brad Dunkle and daughter-in-law Susan O’Connor, and a devoted Grandmother to Carly, Sydney, and Oliver.

Linda loved her cats and all animals so in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local animal shelter or STARS.
