Jeannette Kathleen (Peet) Hoffman

In loving memory of Jeannette Kathleen Hoffman, who passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in Eston, Saskatchewan at the age of 75 years.

Beloved wife of the late Alvin Hoffman, and mother of Betty, William, George, Terry, & the late John.

A Memorial Service will be held for Jeannette, on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the Eston Full Gospel Church, Eston, SK, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Chris Toth officiating.

Jeannette Kathleen (Peet) Hoffman

Jeannette Kathleen (Peet) Hoffman was born November 8, 1941 in Edson, AB to Clara & Harris Peet.  Jeannette grew up in Edson until on November 16, 1957 she married Alvin Hoffman and they moved to Eston where they raised their family.   Born to Alvin & Jeannette were 5 children Betty, William, George, John, & Terry.  In the early years, Jeannette sold Fuller brush and later Tupperware until her & Alvin opened their own business of Hoffman’s Service which they sold in 2003.  After retiring Jeannette took up quilting.  She also enjoyed gardening, bingo, jigsaw puzzles and liquid embroidery.  She made many quilts for her family and several friends until her illness.

Jeannette is lovingly remembered by her children Betty (Russell) Will, George (Sandy) Terry.  10 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren; Tina (Rod) & their children Lorna, and Brianna, Valerie, Joanne (Mike) & their girls Lilly, and Kayleigh, Michelle (Curtis) and their daughter Sadie, Daniel, Josh, Nicole, Aurora, Silas and Anna.  Also, remembered by her sisters-in-law Louise Leach, and Gladyn Hoffman, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeannette was predeceased by her husband Alvin, her son John, mother Clara Miller, father Harris Peet, brother Terry Peet, step-father Carl Miller, mother-in-law Amelia Hoffman, father-in-law Adolf Hoffman, brother-in-law’s Roy Hoffman, William Hoffman, and Frank Leach.

Mom was a very sociable person who would take time to talk and visit with anyone.
