So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. He will be remembered for so many things. His countless hours getting the swimming pool ready for another summer, curling, his pride for our little town and countless other things. He will be missed. RIP Jerry.

Bonnie and family...I am so sorry for your loss. I haven't been in Eatonia long enough to know firsthand all the good deeds Jerry did but I've heard on numerous occasions what a wonderful man he was. Take care... Viv

Bonnie and family
So sad to hear of Jerry's passing. May those last difficult days and weeks be replaced by the memories of the fun and joyful times. It is only because we love sonic that it hurts so much. May the Lord hold you gently in his arms as time softens the hurt of your loss. Our prayers are with you. Sorry we can't get down for the funeral. We'll be joining you in spirit

We were saddened to hear of Jerry's passing! Our most sincere condolences to you and your family! I grew up a mile north of Jerry's mom and dad's farm, my uncle Bill and aunt Cornelia. . I remember as a pre-schooler going with my dad to their place to watch wrestling. I remember staying at Jerry's parents as a preschooler, being baby sat while my parents, Henry and Helena Jurgens went to Humboldt. We shared soup with his family at supper after which Luella took me out on the 2 wheeler bike for a ride and told me fairy tales. I credit her with my love for books. I remember catching rides home with Jerry, Melvin and Luella, in the horse pulled wagon from Epsen school when I was in grade one in about 1951. Although the years have separated us, I still have a feeling of family ties with Jerry's family. My husband and I are unable to attend Jerry's funeral service, but we send you all our wishes for the love and comfort of your family and friends. May time heal your hearts and make your loss a little more bearable .Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

Our deepest sympathy to you Bonnie and your family. Jerry was indeed a Man of Eatonia involved in many volunteer positions. He was a necessary part of keeping the farmers equipment repaired. If Jerry couldn't fix it nobody could. He helped the other Gerry R. out welding and manufacturing parts to keep his clients going as well. Jerry you were a kind gentle man liked and respected by all.
We are happy that you got to spend your winters in Arizona enjoying your retirement. We know that you are free of pain and illness now. Rest well Jerry.
