Ethel Wilma (Davis) Brown

In loving memory of Ethel Brown who passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 in Eston SK at the age of 80 years.

Ethel will be lovingly remembered by her children; Dan (Sylvia), Ken (Sandra), and Don (Marie).  Ethel was a proud grandmother of her 10 grand-children, and 2 great-grandchildren. She will also be remembered fondly by her many extended family members.  Ethel had been predeceased by her husband Jim Brown.

There will be a Celebration of Life held for Ethel on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm from the Elrose Memorial Hall, in Elrose SK.

In loving memory of Ethel Wilma Brown(Davis), who was born September 29, 1936 in Ardath, sk to proud parents Edward and Dorthy Davis. She passed away January 16, 2017 at the Jubilee Lodge in Eston, Sk at the age of 80. Ethel grew up in Ardath, Sk and on April 8th, 1954 she married the love of her life Jim Brown. Ethel and Jim then began their married life farming at Greenan, SK. Ethel was a devoted wife and loving mother to her sons. She loved music especially George Strait and she enjoyed playing her accordion and guitar. She enjoyed watching a good movie especially Pure Country and Ghost. She was an avid bird watcher and could tell you the name of every bird. She also loved to do Tri Chem liquid embroidery, going to the rodeo, word seek puzzles and playing cards. But she most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and nieces and nephews who brought her great joy and the biggest smiles. Ethel will be lovingly remembered by her three sons Dan(Sylvia), Ken(Sandra) and Don(Marie), her grandchildren Chandra Brown, Madison Brown, Lacey Brown, Amber Jennett, Dustin Jennett, Cassie Brown, Tiffany Brown, Amy Brown, Ashley Kress, Steven Kress and great grandchildren Shineall Bartlett, & Kaylan Coakwell. Ethel will also be fondly remembered by her two brothers Wally(Betty) and Ray(Karen) Davis and one sister Irene Foster. She was predeceased by her husband Jim Brown, two infant sons Clement and Perry Alan Brown, and her brother Fred Davis.
