The family of Edwin Nagel are deeply saddened by his passing on August 16, 2016 at the Kindersley hospital, with family by his side. His legacy is continued through his loving wife of almost 64 years, Elvira and his son Trevor (Laura), daughters Bev (Jim) Armstrong and Pam (Darren) Olive, son-in-law Greg East (the late Karen); grandkids Adrian, Dawn, Derek, Kayla, Lauren, AJ; and great grandkids Ethan, Dominic and Marshall. He is survived by his sister Vicki Wormsbecker and her husband Otto, sister-in-law Noreen, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his daughter Karen (Greg East), his parents Christian and Catherina, his brothers Carl, John and Chris, sisters-in-law Gertie and Kathy Nagel and niece Judy Nagel.

Ed truly loved life through his participation in church and community affairs. He was an avid outdoorsman, farming for 55 years, involved in many sports – curling, golfing, bowling, baseball, fishing and hunting. After he moved to Caleb Village 7 years ago, he spent many hours tending to plants and trees, watering and weeding. The highlight of the past 16 years each winter was spending 5 months with his wife in El Centro where the sun always shines, playing slowpitch, golfing and enjoying many happy hours with friends. Family and friends were very important to Ed. When the day is over and you have done your best, wait the results in peace.
