Dear Audrey and family:
How very sorry we were to hear of Dan's passing.  These have been very difficult times for both of you.  We all are left with great memories of Dan at the Polka Fest and would look forward to seeing what kind of an outfit he would dream up.  We never saw him without that big smile even in the last few years when he and yourself didn't have a great deal to smile about. May the wonderful memories help you through this very difficult time Audrey and know that your many Polka friends  have you in our thoughts and prayers

To Audrey and family. I would like to add my few words of condolence to all your kind wishes from friends. Danny seemed to be one of those local fixtures that went on and on, and never changed, but I know he has had a long struggle and so my wish is for peace for him, with no more pain. My wish for you and the girls is for peace in your hearts, knowing he is now at rest, and it is time to look after yourself, as he would want you to. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it. Marge.

Dear Audrey & family,
We were so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. We extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Words are so inadequate at a time like this. Please know that we are thinking of you. May God grant you strength to deal with the immediate details, may time bring you healing, and, may all your memories bring you warmth and peace.

So sorry to hear of Dan's passing.  I recall that Danny Steiert was my "senior" during "frosh week" or initiation into high school back at Westcliff in 1965.  It was a different world then but one thing was the same:  Danny Steiert was just about one of the nicest people you could ever meet.  He never lost that.  In the intervening years I had a lot of conversations with Danno, over the fence or along the road allowance as we farmed three miles apart.  I couldn't help but come away with a different and improved perspective after those "chats" as Danny always had a much more optimistic view of the world than I ever did - Thanks Dan.  Remember the good times Audrey:  Danny was one of the best.

Dear Audrey;

We'd like to express our sympathies to you on the loss of Dan.  We have had a lot of good times together and thus we have many wonderful memories of our relationship over the years. It really and truly has been a very difficult time for both of you these past few years.  But, there is no doubt that Dan is in better place now. Best wished in your future.God Bless.

Dear Audrey and Family:
Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Dan.  I met you both on the dance floor at polkafests and then met you at a nurse practitioner conference where I worked with Continuing Nursing Education.

I often thought about you both.  The special times you shared will bring you some comfort but the finality is always so difficult.  Take care of yourself Audrey and please be assured that my prayers are with you and your family.
